We just recently bought Corel VideoStudio Pro X6 and for some reason I can't get it to install on the computer we need to use it on. I click on the disc to install it and select Install All and it give me a window that reads like this:
Corel VideoStudio Ultimate X6 Plugin Installer
The installed version of the application could not be determined. The setup will now terminate.
The system has not been modified. To install this program at a later time, run the installation again.
Click Finish to exit the wizard.
Can someone please assist us with this? I've tried going through the install several times, and also copied the content of the disc onto the local computer and tried to run the setup from there as well and still no luck. Checked to make sure all Windows Updates were up to date and they are.
Please someone help me out as we need this software to work on a company video that we are showing at the end of the month!

Re: HELP! Can't install Corel VideoStudio Pro X6!
First - if you have not already done so RIGHT click on the setup.exe file and specifically choose "Run as Administrator" - not just RUN - see if that works.
If you have already tried that and it did not work then create a new user account on your computer and try to install when logged in as that user - but make sure you check the 'make available for all users' option.
