I had this idea to create proxy files in a folder on a removable drive connected to my workhorse PC, then on my laptop point VSX4 to the same proxy folder on the removable drive (same drive letter), hoping it would just use the proxy files that had already been created. But, alas, it wants to create a duplicate proxy file with the same file name and a -1 on the end. Is there a config file about the library on my PC that I could copy over to my laptop so that VSX4 would think it created those proxy files?
(Note, my laptop is not powerful enough to scrub through 1080p files without a proxy and it takes longer to create as well)
Two installs of VSX4 sharing the same proxy file?
