Win 7 error on site :This Content cannot be displayed in a

Post by hartpaul »

I have attempted to access a site bw-forums.com (Beginners workshops on paintshop pro) and can do so on XP with IE8. However on my Win 7 with IE11 I get an error that says :
"This content cannot be displayed in a frame"
I have done a search for thios error and found some suggestions which have not worked. Has anyone else had this problem and solved it?
Have attached the error message for further info.

Yes it seems to be a problem with some as found in a google search, and suggestions were made to go to internet Options and Security and add it to trusted sites.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2643142

I did so and no luck. So was wondering if anyone else had experienced it.

No problem with IE 8 on XP Home only with my laptop and Win 7 and IE 11.

I didn't do any fiddling with Security in IE 11 as I don't use the program at all except in situations like this. FWIW, it also works on another computer using IE 11 but Win 8.1 Pro 64 bit.

Yes and now I have found it works on another laptop with the same configuration.
The bottom section: "Open this content in another window"

has properties javascript:makeNewWindow():

and goes to :
http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-18702?forumID=131

which has the heading - Non-Migrated Forum & Blog Categories
It has a statement there:

"You have been redirected since forum categories and blog categories were not migrated to the New SCN.
In the New SCN, each space has its own discussion (forum) and blog. They are accessible from the space under the content tab (see image)."

So I am wondering if I have been hijacked somewhat.

I don't think you've been hijacked. This looks like an IT problem at the forum's end.
