Post by Tonto »

You open files in Adjust by using the Organizer palette there at the bottom of your screen. Just search for some photos on your computer and select one to open it in Adjust mode.

Some things to keep in mind, when you are finished editing an image use the File menu to save a copy of the changes. When you select a new image it'll ask if you want to Save this time, always save the changes, or cancel the changes and pick the new image.

Always Save and Save this time will save over your original image. Some don't care, but personally if I decide later that I don't like the changes I can't fix it. If Auto-preserve is on, they will make a backup that you can revert to but I still don't trust it. So I always use Save As or Save Copy As, then cancel the changes as I move about.

Hi.
I am having the EXACT same issue as Tonto is.

The response by LeviFiction hasn't helped me at all. Is there something that happened to the software or the settings?
Know that I have been using this software for the last several months, using the "Adjust" tab every day on thousands of pictures, I never ever used the "Organizer Palette" at the bottom, I was always able to just open the file, click on open, or drag and import to the "Adjust" tab directly. Now, just like Tonto, my tab is completely useless and all greyed out.

Please HELP. I love this tab. I don't know what the problem is. ....this is annoying on a good software package that I like very much and pay for year after year.

I don't used the Adjust tab but I checked X4, X5 & X6. X4 is the only version that allows you to open an image by using File -> Open. Both X5 & X6 have that option grayed out.
PSPX9 | PSP2020 | PSP2021| PSP2022 | PSP2023 & PhotoMirage installed; PSPX | PSPX2 thru PSP2019 owned but not installed
