Animated Icons on Post? ?

On the "Nik" post there is an animated GIF rolling away. What does that tell me? It's on the Post posted line. I've read the Post and it is still moving. I keep thinking there is something new for me to read? :-

Thanks Brian, I did a search for this as well and closest I could find was a text reference in another forum. Perhaps this is the first forum to have a graphical reference list.

I have always associated the lines scrolling icon as indicating there are more than two pages of posts that you need to scroll through to get to the most current posts in that thread. Corel probably thinks so many posts make it a 'hot topic' but I still prefer my own explanation!! The term "hot topic" is too subjective in my view...
