copy and paste problem

I've gone into the options and used a dissolve and set the time to 00:16 - perfect for my purpose. However, I'm going to want to repeat this same transition and duration now, without the need to drag, right click and set up the time option. I tried to copy after highlighting the transition on the timeline, but I'm not permitted. I have yet to check the storyboard function, If that does it, then forget any reply.

Unfortunately I do not know of any way to set and copy that sort of duration - in 'preferences' under the 'edit' tab you can set a default duration when inserting transitions - but - it only allows complete seconds, so one second would be the minimum.
