Achieve film-like look in post?
Today I posted on a Sony cam forum about achieving that film-like look with my FX1000. The first 2 replies suggested leaving camera settings as-is and achieve the look in post. Any thoughts from the VS x6 users here? I tried a few filters but none that worked like simple magic.

Re: Achieve film-like look in post?
By "that film like look" you mean something produced using the 24 frames per second used in commercial movies? If so, I would think you would need to either set that in your camera, if it allows it, or else, during editing, set output at 24 fps. But just be aware that if you do that, and your original video is NTSC 29.97 fps, then the resulting video might look a bit jerky as VS would need to throw away 5.97 frames every second. Not so noticeable if it is PAL at 25 fps.
But do you really mean the sort of 'technicolor' film look? If so, that would need to be achieved during editing using a variety of filters...
If you can clarify exactly what you are after, maybe someone could make more specific suggestions...
