tracking a person
I am new to this forum so apologies if there are recent posts on this topic, the only one I can find is dated 2008. Quite simply, I need to highlight an individual, sometimes a number of individuals in cctv video clips imported into VideoStudio Pro X6. I can track an individual/s using the tracking motion option but I do not know to highlight as in the demonstration video by BrianCee published on 17th October 2013. I would be grateful for any instructions on how to highlight individuals as in the demo video. Thanks very much

Re: tracking a person
Welcome to the forum
Here is a topic from only last October in which there are some options :- http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=51897&
To add a red ring like I did - When in the track motion window you need to click to check the box towards bottom right against "add matched object" then use the track motion option to track the object - when you click OK at the very bottom of the dialogue window you go back to the main timeline and there will now be a placeholder in the overlay track. I made up a still image of a red circle on a transparent background and in VideoStudio I dragged that image down onto the placeholder - holding down 'ctrl' as I did. This ensures the image will exactly replace the placeholder in length and position.
Should get the result I did - but do check the other options in the topic I directed you to.
