Hi Brian

I finally received a mail from Graham, yes you are correct using the forum e-mail would have been the better option.

Grahams forum e-mail address is incorrect so he has not received any mails from me although I think the old address is still active, just not accessible.
I have asked Graham which address he would like to use for the forum, clearly that needs updating.
Then he will receive post notifications, and admin will be able to contact him.

As for his video problem he has just replied saying
quote....
Hi Trevor, fingers crossed I think it is now working, unlike before I am no longer getting format and file mismatch messages, at one time it would only work if the camera was still attached but I have managed to compile a short project save it then shut down VS and reopen it and it seems to work cannot think why it wouldn't work before, now all I have to do is polish up my video taking skills as my clips are a bit fragmented

Regards Graham

I think I have managed to fix the email problem, now I have another problem, in that the rendering I was doing when I emailed you stopped at 49%, twice, any ideas?

Hi Graham

If it stopped at the same point, what is in the timeline at that point.
Have you added other clips, titles or filters?

I should have posted this as a separate question, regarding your comment I had thought that but couldn't think why, anyway I will check.

I looked through the clips and found two adjacent clips which looked suspicious and removed them then it rendered ok, all I have to do now is make sure that the video is recorded much better next time or edit each clip to remove the ground shots and other rubbish before rendering, planning is the key, I know, and use a tripod so the camera does not wave around all over the place, thanks for all your help, I have accessed your tutorial and will go through it thoroughly
