I also had the same problem as others on this forum with Dolby working on the Trial Version of MF4, but no sound with the Full Version. After uninstalling & reinstalling, doing internet searches on the problem, and browsing over this forum, I did something that suddenly caused the Dolby sound to work. I usually clicked on the "DVD-Video or DVD+VR" selection to start my project. When I imported a clip from my Sony DVD201, I got the video but no sound. So just out of frustration, I went back to the main menu & clicked on the "DVD-VR" selection, imported the same clip, & got the video & sound! I then went back to the main menu, clicked on the "DVD-Video or DVD+VR" selection, imported the same clip again, and now the sound works!!
I thought I'd post this in case it helps anyone else. I would be interested in knowing if this solves anyone elses Dolby problem.
