How do I increase yellow, orange, or golden brown colors in a photo without affecting the other colors? I don't want to increase saturation or make the entire photo warmer. Here's the situation: a nice winter photo of our woods, sky is a pretty gray blue, snow is the right shade of white, tree bark is a warm beige-y gray, but the coppery colored leaves on a beech tree need more oomph.
When I go to Edit...Adjust...Color, the choices are red, green, & blue in the channel mixer or (duh!) in Red/Green/Blue. I don't really understand these features to begin with, and am totally baffled when wanting to tweak yellows/oranges/browns.
Would love for Corel to make a short video tutorial on tweaking colors in photos.
Tweaking colors -- yellows, oranges, browns?

Re: Tweaking colors -- yellows, oranges, browns?
You have not mentioned which version of PSP you are using, but most are similar.
Try Adjust > Hue/Saturation/Lightness > Hue/Saturation/Lightness (Shift H) .In the Edit box select say - reds.
In between the two concentric rainbow rings you will see a white dot bounded by two white lines. You can move each of the lines independently to select a larger or smaller range of reds (would be good if this circle was larger to allow finer control) . You can also now drag the white dot to be more specific on the reds you are adjusting. So the dot sets the mid zone of the colours and the lines set the range. Now you can adjust the saturation slider on the left to increase or decrease the saturation of that range of colours. Also the right slider to increase or decrease brightness.
Have a play and see if that helps.

Glad it helps someone. I only picked that up about a year ago. Very handy at times.
