I have an issue with Presets that someone may know the answer to.
I have built a number of custom Presets for my camera/lens combinations and also work flow variations.
I'm trying to include White Balance in my custom presets. Try as I might none of my attempts will include the chosen white balance. (I shoot in RAW with 'As Shot/Auto' white balance). If I have 70 shots and want them all to reflect the custom preset it's simply a matter of selecting all the files and hitting the desired preset. But then I have to go through all 70 files to change the white balance! The white balance won't/can't be saved into the custom preset.
Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong or missing?
Thanks

Re: Presets
You have to set the WB to custom when you want to include the actual value.

Re: Presets
Do you mean that "Custom" - as a default - has the same meaning as "As Shot"? I have been puzzling over the best way to keep the initial WB in my camera defaults.

Re: Presets
Only when WB is set to custom the actual values are copied. Therefore, to set up your preset, switch to custom and then generate the preset.
For As Shot or any other value, the actual numbers will not be copied as only the setting is needed but not the numbers.

Re: Presets
My concern/issue is making the selection 'stick'. ie I edit a photo, including settings such as noise, sharpness, ca, lens correction etc. And select an appropriate white balance from the choices given. (Not a custom one I've made). Normally you can then save that 'edit' as a Preset. Hit the + key. Well when I do save the selections as a preset all is well except for the White Balance. It always reverts to 'As Shot'.
I'm sure it's something among the Preset saving actions that I'm missing somewhere.
Not sure if it's the same issue but I often have a situation where clicking on a Preset gets no response. When this happens I select another one or two Presets and then select the desired one again and all is well. There seems to occasions where selecting a Preset is ignored.
