Reinstalling Plugins

Post by rickybob »

I had a Windows crash a couple weeks ago and brought it into the local shop. I was dual booting into XP and Linux. I had them remove Linux and install Windows 7. None of the program files were touched although I do have to re-install them to get Windows to recognize them. I'm having problems with some plugins, specifically the Mura's Seamless series. I'm getting a message that the plugin may not be installed properly or may be missing files. They are .8bf format and they worked fine before. Any help would be appreciated.

Some plugins are giving problems with Windows 7.
Some are too old and have not been updated.

I use Windows 7 64 bit and installed PSPX6 32-bit.
The attached worked for me.

Hi Joelle,

Thanks for the help. The problem was fixed by reinstalling plugins msvcrt10 and plugindll. I'll have to re-install all of the Alien Skin filters but I expected that. I'll try your suggestion in Windows 7 once I get more of my programs working there.
