Batch Editing

Post by joeg »

I've looked around the forum and the Internet, but I haven't found a solution.

I have five short (10 min. each) mpg vids that I want to convert individually to mp4 (i.e. in the end I want five separate videos).

All of them are a bit dark (the degree of darkness is the same for all) , and I'd like to brighten all of them while they're being converted.

I know how to do this for vids one at a time, but is there a way to do all of them simultaneously? The important thing is that they shouldn't be joined.

Thank you.

Hi

The only way to do that is to create a separate project for each video clip, apply the filters to adjust the brightness/contrast.
Save each as a VSP.

The batch convert will allow you to add your VSP files converting all in one go to separate Mp4 files.

There is no option to do that from the timeline, that is render all to separate clips.

Thanks very much for your reply. There's a free program called Video to Video that does this, but of course it's much less powerful overall than VideoStudio.

To me it's a very useful feature, and I'm going to suggest it for the next VideoStudio version.

Hi

Interesting, can you provide the URL of that free program.

If it can batch convert videos that have had edits applied then it could be quite useful.
