Video Studio 6 canot uncheck add title menu

Post by 654321 »

I don't want a title menu and I am using VS6. In the creating disks menu under the advanced section there is an option to "add title menu". It is checked and greyed out so I cannot un-check it. How do you activate the greyed out section and allow the "add title menu " to be un-checked?

You don't want a Title menu i.e. the main menu, but does that mean you want a chapter menu instead where you divide a single video up at relevant points which you then use your remote control on your DVD or Blu-Ray player to get to? Or do you mean you don't want a menu at all?

If the latter, then on the first page of the burning module, simply untick 'Create Menu' at the bottom of the various options "Advanced Editing", "Multi-trim..." etc.

But if you want a chapter menu, you have to insert the chapters either manually or automatically on the first page of the burning module by selecting "Add/Edit Chapters'. Note that the very start of the video is automatically Chapter 1. Then on the Edit tab's Advanced Settings the option to create a Title menu should now be active and can be unticked, so you only have the Chapter menu to prepare.

In video parlance 'Title' means a full video clip -- although of course it can confusingly also mean the words that are placed at the start of a movie or throughout it.
