How do I uninstall it?!

I downloaded the trial version of WinDVD 11 Pro. I'm running Windows 7 HomePremium x64 as my OS. WinDVD does NOT have an uninstaller in its installed directory. And in the Programs And Features control panel in Windows (where you normally go to uninstall anything in Windows) there is nothing listed. It's as if it's installed, but my computer has no record of it being installed. So now I'm STUCK WITH IT!!!!!

Please help. Is there a "hidden" uninstaller somewhere that gets installed with the trial version, specifically hidden to keep you from uninstalling it (as a way of discouraging people of disposing of it when the trial is over, to encourage them to buy it instead, some dumb trickery like that as a marketing ploy), but yet still existing somewhere on the system, if only I knew the secret directory to look in?

Just simply delete the WinDVD folder in the 'programs' folder then run whatever registry cleaner you usually use to get rid of the unwanted bits in the registry.

Software is SUPPOSED TO generate an uninstaller as part of the installation process. If it doesn't generate an uninstaller, then then there is a bug with the installer, or the software author did a terrible job creating the software.

Can someone (preferably someone knowledgeable about this software, in other words a Corel employee) tell me how to access the hidden uninstaller (I sure hope there is one, because I don't have any registry clearer software).

This is a user to user forum. All the Mods and us Site Admin people are users like you who volunteer their time to help out where possible. Corel execs seldom visit these forums, and IIRC none has ever visited the WinDVD forum. I'm surprised, though, that no one else has noticed the absence of an Uninstaller -- though I agree with you totally its absence would indeed be strange. I gave up on WinDVD at about version 8, and that certainly came with an uninstaller. I wonder if the current situation is a result of Corel's sub-contracting out responsibility for this particular program to some other company...??
