X6 Ultimate and menus?

OK,
I was thinking of buying the VideoStudio Ultimate X6 but thought to check here in the forum before buying. My main thrust is in making good menus. I did a search here and it seems that X4 & X5 have problems with the menu and submenu creation. I have used Photoshop to create my own menus and then and a very old copy of encore to burn avis to disk. But perhaps now X6 allows one to make your own menus from scratch? I would love to hear opinions as to how creative one can get. Thanks for reading!

You have for many many years been able to create your own menus from scratch - if that is what you really want to do - but it is hard work.

to create your own menus from scratch you need Corel Photoimpact X3 to create the necessary .ufo file.

but there really is no need to start from scratch. you can within VideoStudio completely customise all the menu templates supplied so that they are completely individual and your own style - then save them for your future use or even further modification
