Layer Icons in X3 - What do they mean. I'm trying to identify the different types of layers in this one Preset Shape file, but I can't seem to find anything that gives a good definition of the different icon types.
Basically, what I'm trying to do is create a Preset Shape with multiple objects. I've been making single object Shapes using my CAD software, saving that as a WMF, then opening that in PSP X3, and Exporting it as a Preset Shape. Up until trying to incorporate multiple objects, I've been rather successful.
Soooo, what do the different icons mean in the attached JPG?

Top one is a Vector Layer.
Second one is a Vector Group Object
Last one is a Vector Path Object
Vector layers hold vector objects (paths, rectangles, ellipses, Symmetric Shapes) and vector groups. A vector group is a grouping of several objects into one big group object...this acts like an object not a layer. Similar to a vector layer, but without full layer status.

Thank you! I had JUST happened upon that website moments before. One issue is that it tries to cover all of the versions, and that's causing me some headaches (keeping it clear in my head what's really going on).hartpaul wrote:Good tutorial and explanations here at Suz's Place

Vector Group Object? That one is throwing me for a loop. I can create a group, but I must be doing it wrong because it won't let me export it.LeviFiction wrote:Top one is a Vector Layer.
