VideoStudio x6 Ultimate Crashes When Opened

VideoStudio x6 Ultimate Crashes When Opened
I am trying to run VS x6 Ultimate version 16.0.0.106 on my computer (installed via installation disc), but when I click to run the program, the installer crashes. It did run before, so it is strange that it does this all of the sudden. Also, when I try to uninstall it, it gives me an error saying: Setup.xml could not be loaded. This may indicate that a file is corrupt. I also tried a system restore, but this didn't help either.

Have you tried updating the program with the patch, which will make it 16.1.0.45?

No, but I can't find a way to update/re-install without it giving me errors. If you know of a way I can install the patch, please let me know.
