I can't get Videostudio 7 SE DVD to run on my PC (crashes at startup) and I'm pretty sure its because trial installs of Studio 7 and 8 left behind junk in the registry or possibly old dlls. Does anyone know of a good way to clean up all the Ulead set values? Typical registry scrubbers won't work (I don't think) as they only clean up orphaned data like pointers to dlls or directories that no longer exist but can't clean up some random constant or such.
Any ideas here? This should work on my PC as 6 SE, 7 trial, and 8 trial all worked fine before I uninstalled them.
Thanks,
Russ

RegSeeker will search on anything in the registry and it's free:

Normal words of caution about backing up your registry apply but it does save a copy of anything you delete and will restore deleted entries.
Just removing the registry entries isn't all that needs to be done however. They are numerous files scattered throughout your system as well. You should be able to locate them with the Windows Search function.
Good luck!
