No, just hit the "ENTER" or "RETURN" button (whatever it says on your keyboard) to move to the next line just like a regular text editor.

For sure, that's what I would have expected, but this is what I get. See BEFORE and AFTER hitting the ENTER/RETURN Key. Is there a "Keep to ONE Line" Control?LeviFiction wrote:No, just hit the "ENTER" or "RETURN" button (whatever it says on your keyboard) to move to the next line just like a regular text editor.
BEFORE: AFTER: Any other suggestions as I am needing to make separate Layers - bit annoying.
Cheers

Check the Leading setting on the Tool Options bar. Make sure it's set to zero.
Using Paint Shop Pro versions 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 14, 16

Don't know if it will help or just annoy. xD
I have an old tutorial (made back with version 13 of PSP) - it covers kerning, leading, tracking, and all of the other available text options. It's 10 minutes long but I think I get to those options around minute 8. So you can skip a lot of it if you're not interested.

Re: Multiple Lines of TEXT done as separate Layers?
Of course, that did it. Set to ZERO and I don't get the Line overlap - I had a MINUS value which X6 was doing exactly what I was asking of it.LindaSue wrote:Check the Leading setting on the Tool Options bar. Make sure it's set to zero.
Thank you,
