Corel Painter Photo essentials 4

I have PSP X5 Ultimate running on Win 7 and this program is working fine.

However, when I try to open Corel Painter Photo 4 (Photo essentials), it opens as far as the opening screen and then just freezes. I tried the repair via Corel Painter Photo Essentials 4 .msi but the problem is still the same. The program was purchased online and copied onto DVD.

I have two questions:

!. Does anyone have any suggestions what to try next. I don't want to screw up PSP X5 itself as that works OK.

2. Having bought the package online in Sept 2012, can I still go into my account and download it again? I can find my key but not a link to the original download.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

I've just discovered that I can still download X5 from my account so I think I can sort this one out by myself now.
