Nikon has released a beta of Capture NX-D. Sure it's not an ASP replacement. But I have been playing with it. I'm at the point now that I can get equally as good results out of this beta as I can out of ASP. (Subject to a few tweeks). Using PSPx6 and some plugins I can do everything I need to do.
So let me see? Wait a decade for ASP 2. And pay for it. Or go with a free Nikon product that is er well free!

(... for when I can't hold myself back from buying a new camera that ASP doesn't support. So far, ASP@Linux still works best for me. I have long stopped recommending ASP to others, though.)
