VideoStudio X6 Is Not Running Smoothly
I recently got VS X6, and I had expected it to run very smoothly on my computer. I have an intel core i7 4770k processor, nvidia gtx 770 graphics, and 8GB of 2166 RAM. A friend of mine is running the same version, only on an AMD hexicore processor. I am just curious if this is 'normal' or there is a legitimate problem here. It seems to be the worst when I am trying to add a video filter, to where it is nearly unusable, and sometimes stops responding. I don't really have a clue about the problem, so I apologize for the lack of information.

Re: VideoStudio X6 Is Not Running Smoothly
There's no reason why it shouldn't run smoothly on your set-up. It does on mine which is a bit less powerful than yours...
But as you realise, the information you provided gives us nothing to work on in finding a solution. To start with, what type of video are you editing? Where did it come from? To get the properties, right click on one of the clips in the timeline and copy ALL the Properties here, please, or else take a screen grab of the Properties box and upload it here. Tell us something about the editing you are doing and what filters in particular you are trying to apply.
When does it not run smoothly -- during preview? Or when you are rendering?

Re: VideoStudio X6 Is Not Running Smoothly
A good example is the NewBlue Motion Effect of Earthquake that I was adding to an intro for a little effect. When I try to adjust the 'knob' it will end up spazzing out and not really accurately changing the magnitude, sometimes leading to a crash. But, the program runs slowly in general.
EDIT:
(sorry, I thought I added this)
