Program crashes when burning joined video clips

I can burn single video (MPEG4 SHQ) clips and multiple clips to DVD, but when I join the clips prior to burning the final stage of the process crashes with the message "Ulead DVD MovieFactory has encountered a problem and needs to close." Any ideas? I am running XP and the s/w was bundled with a Sanyo Xacti camera.

In response to the first question, this is a common problem, try burning to an ISO disk image (an option on the final burn page). Then use Nero to burn the ISO to DVD. Works every time.
