Brushes PSPX6

Post by mandevon »

I have downloaded the trial version of above program and opened a new raster page.

Selected a brush and colour but I only get round or square brushes to choose from at the brush presets.

What has happened to brushes like marble and other sets please?

They are part of a special content download that you get after registering the program. It's my understanding that they do this to decrease the size of the initial program download.

You can always download brush packs from other websites. PSP's ability to import Photoshop brushes is improved to include some of the latest formats, though it still won't import any that are over 999 pixels in size.

Thanks for your reply, I thought it strange that those long standing brushes in previous addition had vanished.

I was doing a test run of the new program, my last edition was X2 which I use continuously for photographs posted to a woodwork forum.

You can also point your file locations to previous brush folders (X2) if you still have that installed. That way you can test the brushes with X6 , but nothing much has changed.
Systems available Win7, Win 8.1,Win 10 Version 1607 Build 14393.2007 & version 20H2 Build 19042.867

Thanks for that info, I did try that but never found the actual folder or got it going when I went to my corel programs file.
I will have another go if I am still sober at the end of the day.
