Starting VS6 generates error message OMP: Error # 15...
I purchased VSX6_Ultimate_PF.exe on 12/9. It seems to install okay. But when I try to open the program a dialog box pops up for about a second and the program terminates. I captured a screenshot of the dialog box and it starts as follows: OMP: Error # 15 initializing libiomp5md.dll but found libguide40.dll already initialized. Additional info follows in the dialog box. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program several times but always get the same error message when launching the program. Any idea what the problem may be? Corel support has been unable to solve the problem and told me to search for an answer here. Thanks for any help.

Sure I'll post the solution for users. Here it is: http://www.cyberlink.com/support/produc ... o?id=12820 I used the windows 7 solution.
It just bothers me that Corel support has little interest in solving a problem for a customer. Email responses from them have taken up to 9 days. 3 weeks have passed and when I inquired about the status of my issue I get an email from support saying they won't be able to help until next year. Quite a frustrating experience. Actually the worst support or lack thereof of any company I have ever dealt with.
