Newb Paint Shop Pro x6 question

Post by clem2270 »

hello

I've done an online search on this forum site for information on my question, but the results did not answer my question, and I have reviewed the (PSP x6) PDF users guide and there was no info that I could find there either.

Like most of us here, I'm finally getting around to scanning old family photo's into my computer and I'm in need of trying to fix some of them.

Unfortunately I only have an HP all-in-one device for my scanner, so I'm only able to scan at 1200x1200, so I know that my resolution is going to suffer, but that is ok.

My real job is going to be in trying to save these photo's, some are were taken back in the 1940's or earlier and there is lots of fading on some of the pics.

So with the scanner (HP PSC 2110xi) I'm scanning the pics into TIFF format files and I'm wanting to confirm that: Paint Shop Pro x6 is fully compatible with TIFF files.

thank you.

I do all my initial work in tiff format. (Saved as 16 bit tiffs from ASP). Then convert to PSP format if 'extra' work is required. Then I save everything in a final format of tiff. Never had an issue related to the tiff format.
