Hi
Amazon UK has Corel VideoStudio Ultimate X6 (PC) for sale at a cheap price of just £47.99 , I was wondering what PC stood for, is it a different version to what you can buy elsewhere at a higher price? if anyone can let me know before I decide if to buy at this price I'd be grateful.. thanks kevin.

It is not a term used by Corel for VS. I suspect, rather, that it is Amazon-speak to indicate the program only works on a PC and not on an Apple Mac or other operating system device... AFAIK, the only Corel program to work on any OS other than Windows is AfterShot Pro, which also works on Linux/Ubuntu machines.

PC stands for Personal Computer - as in laptop or Desktop.

Nearly a year ago. Corel started adding Roman number X (10) to its program versions after VS 11. Thus version 12 became X2 (10 +2), 13 was X3 and so on. So there have now been 10 versions since VS 6. Personally, I started with VS 7 over 10 years ago.
