PSP X3 - serial number not valid

Post by Mimipo »

Hello !

I bought PSPX3 on AMAZON in August 2012 because Corel just did not have it anymore. It said it was new.

I just tried to install it 10 minutes ago and was informed that the serial was not valid.

The serial is on the CD's envelope like all my previous PSPs and the after PSPX3 PSPs.
I have the little book, the Getting Started Guide, the Painter Essentials 4 and the Photolooks. In other words, looks ok to me.

Could the reason be because Corel does not carry that version any more ?

Where can I get help on this ?

Thank you

Hi Josephlin !

Problem solved. I went again on Corel's site, section Invalid serial and found that in the frequent typing errors was the two V letters were mistaken by a W; which was my problem.

I tried the VV and I successfully installed PSPX3.

Thank you for trying to help me.

On Corel's site, PSPX3 is no longer supported for technical support and I would have had to buy a support ticket which I'm against since it is a Corel product and that I bought all PSPs since version X, including the late X6 for the 64 bits pc.

Corel still has the updates though for PSPX2 on and I will go back on their site to get them.
