Free presets in PSP X5

Post by Safiren »

When i bought PSP X5 last year i could download som free presets plugins, picture tubes, picture frames, brushes and misc. when i opened PSP and then to Help > Corel Guide > Do more and there it was free to download.

Now i have a new computer and tried to find the presets in my computer back up.
I know i saved it on my old computer - but probably in wrong folder beacuse i can not find it in my backup.
So today i tried to download again in PSP but i can not do so. When i open Help > Corel Guide > Do more it say installed and the date 28 aug. 2012 and 9 oct. 2012.

Is there a way to get the presets ?

Hi Safiren:

Our design for "Do More" is willing to remember your download state until you uninstall PSPX5. So you have two ways to download our creative contents as below.

1. Uninstall and install PSPX5 on your old machine and complete registration process again.
2. Or you can just install PSPX5 into your new machine and also complete registration process.

Above either way you should able to download our creative contents w/o problems.

I have installed PSPX5 into my new computer and also complete the registration process but it won ' t let med download the presets again.
When i try it says "installed".
Do you mean that i already have them in my PSP ?
Is there a way to control it?
For example if I know that a tube is called yellow rose I can look for yellow rose.

How many tubes do you have ? Go to File > Preferences > File Locations > Picture Tubes and you will see the locations of your Picture tubes. You should have one folder there which is in the Corel folder from your Program Files labelled Corel_10 and in my case it has 155 tubes.

Another folder there should be found where you normally had My Documents (in earlier versions of windows) and this was for personal and other downloaded Picture tubes. I have an extra 197 Picture Tubes there so I have made by isolation of an image and others downloaded from different sites.

Yes, the ones included in that folder are the ones provided by Corel. You can just manually make backups and copy them between folders.

If you ever make your own tubes and such they'll be saved to the folder in your "My Documents" folder. And you can back those up as well. PSP doesn't care where they came from, so long as they work.

That wouod be correct. I think the initial installation only had a small sample , and the rest were from the Corel Do More. The additional ones I obtained from many other sites by doing a google search pn paintshop pro tubes.
