Turn 90 jpgs into a movie

Post by digitaldebonaire »

I have a sequence of still jpgs I rendered out of Maya. There are 90 total. I want to throw them into the editor at 30fps and have them be in order. I have tried simply copying them all and dragging them all at once onto the timeline but that leave each image at 3-4 seconds per image and they are not in order. I know there is other software I could use to do this but since I'll be editing the video in Video Studio I thought it would be nice to be able to do this inside of it. Is this possible with Video Studio? Thank you in advance for the help,

First the 3-4 seconds is because that is what you have set in "Preferences" - if you want each photo to be longer go to preferences (press F6) and under the 'Edit' tab set the default duration to whatever you want.

If you import the clips into a library pane first you can then sort them - by name - by date - by type - then drag them all down into the timeline.

Then go to "Share >> Create Video file" and render out your slide show.

Hi digitaldebonaire

In addition ............

If you use Windows Explorer and wish to Drag and Drop, after selecting the images you should drag the first selected image, they should be in order.

The image you actually drag becomes the first image inserted to the timeline.

To insert images
You are best to Right Click the timeline and select Insert Photo

Tip.........
To change image duration of timeline images.
Select all images Shift + Click
Right click image and choose Change Photo Duration
