Monitor and prints don't match.
I have an Epson R1900 wide format photo printer. I have adjusted my monitor so that images viewed in PSP or any other piece of software on my Dell 2412M monitor match prints on a Professional Fujifilm Dry Process photo printer exactly. When I print on the R1900 my prints come out with lower contrast and saturation. I'm using best quality and premium paper. I can get the R1900 printer results to match the PFDP results by pumping up the contrast and saturation in PSP (The images then look bad on the monitor, and also look bad when saved and viewed on other computers.), so the printer is capable of generating "perfect" results.
Is there something I can do which will correct the printing process without having to "modify" the actual image. May an ICC profile or something similar? I have found ICC profiles but they seem to only work with Adobe products.
