My current project (19 minutes long) does not render (Create a video file). It stops after 27% complete and a message window pops up: "Cannot read audio 0x80004005, 18300:8000:192". My project includes voice-overs, sample sound (water flowing and airplane taking off) and some music. By taking out all voice-overs and music, the project renders. I am using VS X4 Pro. Any suggestion how I can pinpoint or eliminate this problem.

Re: Rendering a VSP file
Obviously one or more of your audio files is "corrupt". Try eliminating them on at a time and render (or add them one at a time) until you find the problem one.
Since it happens at 27% you might be able to pinpoint the problem audio clip directly and remove it.

Re: Rendering a VSP file
and 27% of 19 minutes would be 5 min 7seconds
Timecode 00:05:07:00
What clips are at that point on the timelines?
MP3 Lame codec has caused some problems, if so convert your MP3 to Wav
