I've been searching all day for answers on Corel website, forums, and I can't find how to unlock my PSP program.
I purchased the product online in April 2013, and I recently copied the program folder on my new computer and it says "This copy of PSP has been damaged or illegally modified. Please reinstall from your original source" but when I try to run the Setup application it says "The system cannot find the path specified.....you do not have sufficient privileges" even tho I do "run as administrator" on admin account.
I can't seem to be able to contact Corel support directly online either, the support website always leads me to dead end or "buy support"...I'm confused. Do I have to pay for a new copy for my new computer?
Thank you for your answer, have a great day.
How do I transfer PSP X5 to new computer?

Re: How do I transfer PSP X5 to new computer?
When you purchased your original program you would have been given links to the downloads and also your serial number.
You need to copy that single downloaded file over to your new computer and install it there. You cannot copy the Program folder with all the .dll files and .exe applications and folders (Camera Curve, Color Profile , Commands, Corel_01 etc) because in the installation process a whole series of changes and additions are made to your registry, which will not be there on your new system if you just copy the folder across.
Your PSP X5 download file should be labelled PSPX5_TBYB30.exe or similar and be about 141,915 KB in size. This is what you transfer and run on your new computer. If you have lost the program, then you can go to your corel account (you did register your program and set up a Corel account didn't you?). You can click on youur registered products and find out what date you registered. Then you can look for emails from Corel around that date and recover the download links.
Or down the bottom of your account main page look at Your Order Status and History and click on See all Orders and find the download links there.
If you do manage to find your program download / redownload it then make some backup copies and label them clearly so you can find again.

Re: How do I transfer PSP X5 to new computer?
Thank you so much Paul !
I found the download button in my account under "order number" (last night I was looking into "registered products" and there was no download option).
So I deleted the copied folders, downloaded and ran the PSPX5_PF.EXE file and now everything is fine, I can use my all time favorite photo editing program !
I really appreciate it, have a great day man !
