Emptying organizer palette
Okay, I'm embarrassed. I recently installed PaintShop Pro X6 and started playing with it. Somehow I ended up with a bunch of pictures in my Organizer Palette. (I don't know how.) How do I empty it? I opened some pictures after these initial ones were in there and they DIDN'T show up in the Organizer Palette. I looked at the on-line Help but didn't see this particular issue. Your help will be appreciated.

Re: Emptying organizer palette
Never mind. I looked in my PaintShop Pro XI manual and found the answer. The pictures that were in the Organizer Palette were there because their folder had been selected in the Navigation 'tree'. (I told you I was embarrassed.)

Simon:
Organizer displays thumbnails for images in the folder in your computer that you are currently accessing. The files are in the hardrive and organizer shows what is there.
I assume that you are in Edit mode (shows up at the top of the display). In Organizer locate and click on the Navigator icon (furthest left). When Navigator opens select computer, the drive containing your files and make your way down the tree to the folders containing your photos. Select a folder and its image content displays in Organizer. Your path in Navigator is likely C:\Users\Your name\Pictures\Folder.
Try out Manage mode. There you see the navigator panel and you can select either a preview view or thumbnails (icons in upper right), which quickly shows the content of each folder you select in the navigator panel. Navigator can be pinned so it stays always open allowing quick verification of the folder that Organizer is showing. Enjoy your exploration.
