Power Outage/Recover Project

Post by inyour4head »

We has a power outage and when VS6 was re-opened it prompted me to recover project but I declined to do so because I thought I had already saved my progress. Turns out I was wrong!

Any ideas on where I could find these files to avoid having to make the same edits again??

If you declined the offer to recover your project when you started VideoStudio after the crash it is my understanding that the temporary files will be deleted.

As with any computer programme you should do a "save" frequently so you will only ever have to re-do a small amount of recovery work.

I was afraid of that... At least I don't have too many edits to make. I was just hoping those temporary files were hidden somewhere.

Thanks for the reply!
