Hi, I've just installed PSPx6, downloaded and installed updates.
I'm using the 64 bit version and it will not load any plug-ins. I've set the file locations etc.
I've been using PSP since version 7, so I'm pretty capable. This is really making me angry though. It's a useless program to me if it won't utilize my Dreamsuite, KPT, Filters Unlimited, Plaid lite, and Muras copies.
Help please??
Unable to load plug-ins

Re: Unable to load plug-ins
There are several recent threads here on exactly the same subject. So please do a search and you will find lots of details. The basic response, though, is that if your plug-ins are 32 bit, they won't work in the 64 bit version of SPS -- only the 32 bit version. That is not Corel's fault -- just the nature of the 32 bit beast. You also need to check with the plug-in manufacturers to see if they have 64 bit versions of their software.

Re: Unable to load plug-ins
Thanks for the reply. I tried using the plug-ins in the 32 versions of PSPx6, and they load fine but when I try to apply the effect the entire PSP crashes.
This purchase was a waste of money for me. I'm very unhappy.

Re: Unable to load plug-ins
Murahs copies, Dreamsuite, and filters unlimited are the ones that crash, and the ones I use most.

I don't have those plug-ins. They work perfectly fine with previous versions of PSP?tracyann wrote:Murahs copies, Dreamsuite, and filters unlimited are the ones that crash, and the ones I use most.

Re: Unable to load plug-ins
I suspect the question should be 'do they work with previous versions of PSP and previous versions of Windows". Win 8 may also be a factor in the current case re the 32 bit version of PSP...
