The .vsp files on their own are of no use to you at all - they are just very small text files which tell VideoStudio how to assemble your project - so it follows that to do more editing on another computer you also need to move all of the original material to the new computer as well.

In order to do that you create a "smart package" in VideoStudio on your old computer then transfer that to your new computer and open it there in VideoStudio.

To create a smart package you first need to open the old .vsp file in your old computer and then go to "File >> Smart Package" and save it onto your old computer - then save that to a USB stick or DVD and transfer that to your new computer and open it there. All versions of Videostudio will open .vsp files from a previous version so it will not matter if your new computer has a newer version of VideoStudio on it - but the reverse is not true - once you have worked on a vsp in a later version you cannot go back again unless you use the "save as" . previous version option.
