Slow loading

A question - Lately ASP has been very slow loading a file. From the time I select the Raw file in a folder to the thumbnail actually appearing in the side bar is about 20 seconds. If I select multiple files then it's 20 seconds to the first file then as per normal after that.
Any ideas on what has changed or how I can speed it up?

So either no one has this problem and I'm on my own. Or everyone has this problem and doesn't have a solution!!

Have you tried starting up ASP with the Shift key held down. This flushes the cache AFAIR.

Thanks. It is a cache problem. But unless I Shift key while opening or set the cache clean to every session it bogs down big time.
