Hi everyone - we wanted to apologize for the lack of community support on this page. We really did not mean to leave you hanging. From here on out we will be keeping an eye on the page and promise to respond to any of your questions within a week and faster if they are urgent.

Bottom line, we really appreciate all of our supporters and promise to support you right back.
That came as a bit of a surprise.

When someone from Corel logs on to this site every day and responds to questions and comments I will believe they are taking us seriously. Until then, sporadic comments and apologies are nice but not indicative of real change.

Wow - I'm amazed they can say that with a straight face. If they cared at all they'd provide some actual information, rather than just a platitude every month or two.

No. This is a user to user forum. It is not an official Corel communication forum.

Having said that, some response here is always nice.

You're of course right that it's a user to user forum, but the second part of your statement implies that the official Corel communication regarding ASP takes place elsewhere. The reason people complain on this forum is that no official communication from Corel (bar the occasional information free platitude) exists at all. Aftershot Pro was announced almost 2 years ago, after a long period of time where Bibble didn't improve a lot. Over the past 2 years, Corel have fired the development team, removed some features from the product, and released nothing substantive. They've just barely got some new camera support through the door, but that's all. Corel have chosen to speak on this forum in the past in an attempt to improve their image with their userbase, so I think any expectation of further communication here is due to their previous posts. Not that I think it'll be forthcoming of course, but then I think they've made it more than clear at this point that they take neither this product nor its users seriously. I do wonder why they bought it - if I was a shareholder I'd be less than amused (though they're a private company these days, so are responsible only to their owners for this sort of failure to capitalise on the Bibble purchase).

A purchase doesn´t say for how much it was bought.....
So it well could have been for 1$ and a guarantee to employ the staff for at least one more year.

Besides all of this, Corel needs to get their act together and start communicating with its user base that´s left on a frequent basis and release updates frequently.
