I am a long time Corel user. I just downloaded the X6 and installed the 64 bit. I then realized that my 32 bit plug ins wouldn't work. So I uninstalled and then re-installed with both the 32 and 64 bit. Now I have 2 programs. Will I really need to go back and forth between the two? Wouldn't it make more sense to just use the 32 bit?

If you use plugins often? Yes.
64-bit does, however, offer certain speed improvements for filters when working with larger images as have more RAM to use.
So it all depends.

Re: X6 64 bit and 32 bit
The problem that you'll run into is that PSP won't let you have the two versions open at the same time. So what some people do is leave an older version of PSP on their system to use with the older plug-ins.
As more and more plug-ins come out with 64 bit versions it will be less necessary, but it's not a certainty that all or any of your current plug-ins will have a 64 bit counterpart.

I have downloaded both. I use the 64 bit; however, if I want to use a plug-n. (I like the KPT Collection) then I switch to 32 bit, fix the picture, save it, and then open it again with the 64 bit program.
