PSP X4 Crashes

Post by Muriel »

My PaintShop Pro X4 does not work with my brand new HP Envy Rove 20. It installed as Corel intended, but crashes if I even think of using the the Paint Brush tool, and possibly others as well. (The OS is 64 bit.)

The first patch and second upgrades have been installed..

Any suggestions pointing me in the direction of a solution are appreciated..

Many thanks,
Muriel!

Well, Hello Again!

Should've posted in this forum in the first place.. five minutes after clicking 'Submit', I think I solved the problem. Seems it didn't like one of the brush folders to which it was linked, which once removed, rendered the program my friend once more!

I do think I have earned a glass of wine.. Good Night, Everyone!

Hi..

I did indeed, Trueblue! It was exactly what I needed after that hassle. Still, it was not as frustrating as getting the program to work on Vista! TWO WEEKS I struggled with more glitches than I can count.. Finally it more or less sorted itself out! The RECENT FILE feature to this day has not worked properly in the EDIT mode, except perhaps twice which indicated to me that it is designed to work there.
