PSP X6 - Add Plugin to Toolbar?

Post by PGR »

I use a couple plugins fairly frequently in the Edit window and it's tiresome to have to navigate 4-levels deep into a menu each time I want to access them. Can a link/button to plugins be added to a toolbar? Is there another quick way to access plugins? I've researched and experimented and I can't seem to find a way to do that.

Thanks! -Pete-

What I do is record a script using the plug-in, then bind the script and place that onto the toolbar.

Open an image (or start a new one). Get the Script Toolbar active if you can't see it (View> Toolbars> Script), click the Record button (red ball), do your plug-in completely, click Save Script Recording (floppy disk with small red ball), name it, save it.

Once you have the script made, here's the steps to bind it to an icon:
Once your script is created and named click View> Customize.
Click the Scripts tab.
In the drop down menu find your script.
In the list of icons find one and click it that you like.
Click Bind.
-----------------
Now you should see the bound script in the window bellow, click and drag that out of the window and onto PSP where ever you want to put it (some places will take better than others). Once you have it where you want it right click it and choose Image And Text to show the name of it as well as the bound icon for it. Close the Customize window and start enjoying.

If this doesn't work or you get hung up let us know.
