Quick question, hopefully the answer is simple.
How can I add multiple titles to the same clip, but enter the clip at different times ..??
I am trying to add a title by having
"____ production presents..." (fades out)
(fades in) "Title of Movie"
Thank you for the answer in advance, I can seem to figure this out!
Cheers,

Re: Multiple Titles in same clip
Not totally clear on what you are asking.
Do you want to add (overlay) the text titles at various points while the main video is "playing" or do to want to "insert" the test as part of the main video?

Re: Multiple Titles in same clip
Canuck got in as I was typing this, though I was going to ask much the same thing. But if you are talking about just a simple title as part of the main video, then you make the first title by double clicking on the Title timeline -- normally the third one down, with T to its left. Then you fill in the words on the preview screen that you want, and adjust its position on screen. Then over to the right of the preview screen, about half way down, you will see (or should see) two tabs, one labelled Edit, and the other (by default greyed out) Attribute. The Edit one allows you to set things like font and size. But if you click on the Attribute tab, then over in the top left of that tab you should see 'Animation' which should have a white dot in the circle to its left.
Below that is a box with 'Animation' -- tick that box. Then to its immediate right is a window with Drop appearing by default. If you click on the downward pointing arrow, you will see other animation options, with Fade as the second one. Highlight that. Then to the right of that window click on the double T icon. A dialogue box should appear giving you animation options for the Fade effect. You can choose Fade in, Fade out and Cross Fade -- though you indicated you wanted Fade Out for that first title so click that. You can also set the time the fade out takes -- short, intermediate or long.
You can also adjust the overall length of each title by highlighting it in the timeline and dragging the heavy yellow bar on its right end out to the length of time you want.
Then make your second title the same way, only choosing Fade In.
Note that below the 'Drop/Fade/etc' window are a set of pre-set previews of various effects. Have a look at those as they may give you some new ideas. Each of those can also be customised.

Re: Multiple Titles in same clip
If you follow what Ken has explained your timeline should look something like below with each title fading in and out

Re: Multiple Titles in same clip
This was very helpful this solved my problem. I understand the power of overlays now! Thanks Bryan your image reinforced I followed Ken instructions correctly.
This forum is very helpful, this was a fast response. Thank you!
I have one other question, and without spamming the thread board i thought I would quickly ask it here, but if this is not proper etiquette then I will post it as a new thread.
When speeding up a video, is 1000% the fasted speed X6 offers? I am trying to take a 20 min video clip (go pro was stationary to my window to capture a sunset) and shorten it to 20-30 seconds. i cannot seem to get the video clip faster than 2 minutes.
Cheers,

Re: Multiple Titles in same clip
1000% is the fastest you can go automatically - but you can make the video as short and as fast as you like by simply removing frames - manually if necessary.
When you play a video it will always play at 30 fps for NTSC or 25 fps for PAL so to speed up any video VideoStudio just removes frames - once you reach the limit and want more it's over to you to crop and delete every '#' th frame where # is a number you choose to get the video down to the length you want.

Hi
Apply 100% to your clip
Share Create Video File same as first Clip, will create a new video.
Using the new video file apply Speed/Timelapse again
