Step 2? Or Method 2?

Method 2 is the Blur - Step 2....well many of these have multiple steps so I'd need to know which method you're looking at.

If you're talking about the Blur method, I did exactly as I was told, used the exact values given, and got the same results just fine. Or at the very least, similar results. This is a Photoshop tutorial after-all. There are bound to be some differences in the end result.

How did yours turn out?

QuickMask is loosely the same as Edit Selection.

So the instructions inside of PSP would be. --- I'm including a video to help but you probably don't need it: http://youtu.be/n4RpGxVBH0o

1) Grab the selection tool and set the selection type to "Rectangle

2) Drag out a Rectangle selection.

3) Go to the menu and select: Selections -> Edit Selection

The selection will be highlighted in red.

4) Adjustments -> Blur -> Guassian Blur - At half the wanted radius

5) Adjustments -> Brightness & contrast - Levels - Black: 118, White: 137

6) Selections -> Deselect Edit Selection

7) Fill with color

8) Selections -> Select None

I'm not saying anything is wrong with experimenting with diffferent methods of doing things but wanted to make sure you were aware that PSP's vector rectangle will give you perfect rounded rectangles. This includes direct control over the corner size both before and after your vector shape is drawn.
