DVD Menu Maker User Guide in PhotoImpact X3?

Can some point me to the location of the "?" that the help menu indicates that there is a specific user guide to make a DVD menu in PIx3?

I can not find it. Thanks.

Not sure about that specific ? as I don't have PI on any of my computers. However, there are detailed tutorials on the subject of making menus with PI starting here: http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?p=51659#p51659

Hi

The Easy Palette – Library tab has a lot of samples.
Open those to see how the menu is constructed.
View the layers Manager to identify the objects used,

Then form the Effects Menu – DVD Menu – DVD Menu Maker opens a window that allows you to Assign the ID’s
It also checks to see if all ID’s have been assigned correctly.

I do not know if there is any other tutorials regarding DVD Menus other than those written by Steve Jones

The best option is to open a sample from the Easy Palette and modify it.

From the DVD Menu Maker click the ? symbol lower left, next to Check Details this opens a PDF guide which should help

I fully understand what you are asking PCFlyer- as you say when you open PI help and go to the topic shown in my image below it clearly says to click on the "?" to get DVD menu help - but like you I am unable to locate that question mark any where on screen when I am in the DVD menu creation wizard.

1 / Open Photo Impact
2 / Import a menu template from the Easy Palette- Libraries-DVD Menu section.
3 / Select the Effects menu – DVD Menu-DVD Menu maker.
4 / lower left of this window is the ?
Opens the PDF located on hard drive here:-

C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel\PhotoImpact X3\plugin\MDT\ DVD Menu Maker.pdf
