I been looking to no avail. I can compose my own multi track music, but how to I get it into a format that Corel Video Studio could use -- to allow me to use Set Mood to adjust the layers?
thanks in advance,
Ed

VideoStudio does not support multi layer audio editing - you will need to convert your audio to standard .wav or mp3 to put in the audio tracks of VideoStudio

Hey Brian,
Video Studio does support setting 'the mood' in video studio. Which allows you to mix the volume level of the instruments for music that is 'Music Multi-layer'.
I just want to know what I must do to get my music into that format. I do not see any documentation on that.

Hi
I assume you are referring to Smart Sound
http://www.smartsound.com/
The Auto Music icon can be found under the preview screen third from right.
This opens the Auto Music tab below the library.
Select the SmartSound Quicktracks symbol to open a window with extra info.
The Folder tab will allow you to add your own folder.
The sound files can be forum here, C:\ProgramData\SmartSound Software Inc
having a SDS extension, you may need Smart Sound Software to create these types.
That’s about all I know about Smart Sound, other than I can add them to the timelines.
But for using your own I have no idea how, other than they are installed as albums?
Hope this helps a little………

Re: MULTI LAYER MUSIC CREATION
Lata,
Thanks, yes I am referring to smartsound. By the looks of it there are no users here trying to add their own SmartSound multi-track music to videos using Corel.
If you hear anyone able to do it, please drop me a line. I have Sonic Fire but I do not see a method to export it in the format VideoStudio needs for the 'mood' function to work.
Thanks again,
-Ed
