No QT (.mov) available.
I have VSX5 Ultimate perfectly runnng on my Vista desktop and on my W7 32bit laptop. I am now setting up a new 64bit W7 desktop PC. I installed VSX5 Ultimate on it, but strange enough, it all seems OK but there is no QT (.mov) file export selection available anymore. Not in the batch converter output formats list, nor on the custum video file sharing list. Am I missing something? I already intalled the latest Quictime version. Thanks for any advise.

Re: No QT (.mov) available.
Strange. It certainly shows up as an option under Share > Create Video File > Custom on my setup of both X5 and X6 Ultimate. I too have the latest version of QT installed. But you may recall that some users have trouble with the latest version of QT and have to install, for some unknown reason, an earlier version to get it to appear. IIRC the best version in such cases is 7.5.5.
The only problem with such a workaround, of course, is that it will stop programs, like iTunes, from working as they require the latest version of QT to work properly...

Like Ken I see the .mov option in my custom choices in X5 see below - my Quicktime reports it is version 7.7.4 which I assume is the latest version.

Re: No QT (.mov) available.
Thanks Ken and Brian. Strange things are happening on this new W7 64bit machine, QT 7.7.4 is installed, a trial version of vsx6 installed on the new PC runs OK including the .mov selection, while my registered vsx6 version misses the .mov selection on the new PC. The same registered installation file was installed on my laptop W7 and is OK. When trying VSX5 I get CRC issues...What differs from my other working PC's is twofold: my old ones(destop Vista, and W7 laptop) are 32bit machines and the new one has a Dutch OS version as opposed to the "old" ones with UK oS versions. I forgot to specify that it should have an English OSversion. In the mean time I ordered a multilanguage W7 version and will do a clean install of W7 with a UK OS. I will report what happen then. Any suggestions in the mean time are welcome.
