In an effort to keep a sort of "script" of my project I am hoping that there is some way to extract all the titles in a project file as a single text file?
Have installed X6 Pro and like it.

Re: Extract Titles as Text File?
I assume by titles you men the file names of all the video, audio and image files you are using in your project.
As far as I know there is no way to extract that information from the project file (vsp). Perhaps someone knows how to "decode" the vsp project file where that information is kept.
You could put all source files you use into a "project" folder and then get a listing of the files in that folder.

You can copy and paste the text to a word document or txt note pad.
Click the clip on the timeline to select it, then double click the text box on the screen.
with the curser within the box you should be able to copy the text.
If you are referring to the text boxes you create as a title, the clips show in the title track.JimDodds wrote:I am wondering if there is any way to extract the titles in the title track to a text file?
The Project Files don't seem to have the titles incorporated in them.
Thank you....

Re: Extract Titles as Text File?
First, when I search for posts under my name all I get is something I posted December 30, 2012...
Second, thank you
Third, what I was asking was if there was anywhere ALL the titles were stored, so they could be extracted as a text file.
I have maybe three hundred titles in my video I've been asked to change to narration.
To convert ALL those into one text file for a sort of "script" would be very helpful.
